Four Peaks Challenge

Climb the four highest peaks in the 4 provinces of Ireland in 48 hours with Nurture Africa. During the challenge you will discover the breathtaking scenery of Ireland’s highest peaks: Carrauntoohil (Kerry), Mweelrea (Mayo), Slieve Donard (Down) and Lugnaquilla (Wicklow).

This unique event provides experienced guides and logistical support, including transport , accomodation and food straight off the mountain. We provide the craic and even support you in getting there with some optional fun fitness training hikes on each of the mountains leading up to the event.

We couldn’t do more, unless we climbed for you.

White Collar Boxing

Swap the shirt and tie for gloves and a gum shield and join Nurture Africa on one of our extremely popular White Collar Boxing nights.

You’ll get 6 weeks of professional boxing training with some of Ireland’s best coaches, including former Olympic boxer Cathal O’Grady, in the Irish Amateur Boxing Headquarters, South Circular Road. To put the icing on the cake, you’ll battle it out for 3 bouts of 90 seconds against your sparring partner in front of a riled up crowd of family and friends. All you need to do is get 30 friends or family members to come support you in the ring . . . EASY.

So get your gloves on and beat your friends into getting involved.

Kilimanjaro, Tanzania

Standing at an impressive 5,895 metres Mount Kilimanjaro is the highest mountain in Africa, located at the north/eastern tip of Tanzania. For the adventurous, a climb of Mount Kilimanjaro is a must taking you through the mists of equatorial jungle to reach the snows and breath-taking views from the summit.

Marathon/Mini-Marathon

Running is the ideal way of keeping fit and healthy. More importantly it’s free. So whether you are the next Gebrselassie or more of an enthusiastic power walker why not take on the Dublin City Marathon or the Ladies Mini-Marathon on behalf the Nurture Africa.
