Achievements & Targets
Nurture Africa is focused upon its continued contribution to international development. Below, you can read the achievements of the organisation in numbers, across our four main project areas of Health, Sustainable Livelihoods, Education and Child Rights. Behind each of these numbers is a person. Nurture Africa will seek to continue to support each of these people and as many more who require our support over the coming years.

2024 Achievements 

Figures include partner Government health centres

  1. 22,606 women and vulnerable female youths
    received Sexual and Reproductive Health Services

  2. 13,245 HIV infected children, adolescents, and
    their guardians received HIV care and treatment.

  3. 127,680 clients received Primary Health Care Services

  4. 22,745 clients tested for TB

  5. 220 disabled children provided with comprehensive physiotherapy and occupational therapy

  6. 43,198 women received ante natal care and post-natal services

  7. 47,479 children immunised

  8. 5,995 women delivered from Nurture Africa and partner health facilities

  9. 326 health workers trained in paediatric management

Healthcare

2025 Targets 

  1. 22,000 women & vulnerable female youths to receive Sexual & Reproductive Health Services

  2. 13,000 HIV infected children, adolescents, and their guardians to receive HIV care and treatment

  3. 120,000 clients to receive Primary Health Care services

  4. 22,000 clients to be tested for TB 

  5. 200 disabled children to be provided with comprehensive physiotherapy and occupational therapy

  6. 40,000 women to receive ante natal care and post-natal services

  7. 45,000 children to be immunised

  8. 6,000 women to give birth at the Nurture Africa Medical Centre.

  9. 300 health workers to be trained in paediatric management

Sustainable Livelihoods

​​

  1. 2,046 guardians trained and 61 new VSLA groups formed to improve guardians’ household income.

  2. 2,046 vulnerable heads of households were trained on backyard vegetable growing and improved agricultural methods and received a seedling starter pack to improve their nutritional health.

  3. 5,211 children and guardians in 8 schools were educated on child rights, health, nutrition and education

  4. 4,106 Children and guardians were educated in bio waste recycling

  5. 2,046 guardians were facilitated to become self- employed, develop collective savings schemes and build business plans enabling them to create for themselves and, in turn provide their children’s education and their families’ benefiting

  6. 112 teachers trained on developing a Teachers’ Savings Loans Association
    (TSLA).
