Position 1 Finance manager

The Finance manager will be a member of the Senior Management Team. As a member of the management team, the Finance Manager is responsible for ensuring the robustness of the Nurture Africa’s financial management systems. The Finance Manager is in charge of financial reporting, financial grant management and compliance, communication, capacity building for finance staff and sub recipient’s capacity strengthening in the area of financial management.

The Finance Manager designs, improves and maintains effective financial systems and procedures. In line with Nurture Africa’s strategic priority to reinforce an organizational culture of high performance and accountability, s/he ensures that the country program maintains a high level of resource stewardship and strict financial accountability.

The successful candidate will have substantial experience in a leadership role to mentor finance team, with strong familiarity of interpreting financial information to promote stewardship and manage risks. She/he should have a financial management skill, planning and budget administration, treasury management and grant management preferably with prior NGO experience gained from at least two different NGO’s.

Position 2: M&E and Research Coordinator
The M&E and Research Coordinator will guide and make sure that the program activities are effectively planned, monitored and evaluated whilst tracking project progress towards achievement of its objectives, developing data collection instruments and sampling strategies, on site research and data collection and writing/editing of reports, field visits, training of trainers.
The successful candidate will have substantial experience in leadership and ability to develop M&E procedures, tools and databases, ensuring that M&E systems produce excellent outcomes in terms of the different requirements of the 
diverse stakeholders who need M&E data ,excellent research skills and data compilation, data quality review, and analysis of all field data, ability to Manage data collection for special projects, and reports for funders, Develop databases, data tools and documentation for the various clinical and community projects according to the Annual Workplan and Monitoring and Evaluation plan. The candidate must also be willing to travel up-country at any given time.
Fluency required in English and Luganda.

Position 3 Education Coordinator
We are looking for an outgoing, caring, passionate individual who can lead a team of 4 staff, work with local government and also communicate well with schools. You should have experience in education, career guidance, project planning and management, proposal writing and have good communication skills. You should know how to manage a budget efficiently.


Job requirements are: Diploma/ degree in Education with relevant post graduate qualification. Minimum of five years’ experience with at least two in classroom teaching and experience with NGO work.

Position 4: Vocational Centre Manager
The Vocational Centre Manager should be someone who loves working with and inspiring youth. This person should be passionate about learning and be able to organize a team of 8 tutors and support staff. This person shall be responsible for Planning, Coordinating, Implementing, Mobilizing and monitoring youth vocational activities of Nurture Africa.

The successful candidate will be able to identify, plan, develop, implement and report on development projects for youth in Nurture Africa. Work directly with young people and provide skill development programs and services which are relevant to their needs, collect and maintain relevant youth records and statistics for Nurture Africa Vocational Centre, youth canteen and any other relevant source of information. Ability to develop activity, monthly reports and submit to the M&E and programs, prepare Work Plans and Budgets for the Vocational Centre and submit to M&E and the programs. Work with tutors in Planning, organizing and running of classes for the students in order to meet the objectives of Vocational Centre, proposal development for the Vocational Centre, Work hand in hand with other departments within the organisation to effectively plan and share information that is useful to promotion and integration of the Vocational Centre into other projects. If you have experience in social enterprise this will be an advantage.
