Nurture Africa is seeking candidates for the following positions within its organisation in Uganda. Physiotherapist 

The physiotherapist, will support children(0-15yrs) to recover from injury, reduce pain and stiffness, increase mobility and movement and maximize function and quality of life, incorporating physical psychological, emotional and social wellbeing. He/she will be responsible for treatment, care and rehabilitation of motor function and physical wellness of cerebral Pulse, Spina Bifida, Autism, HY Patients both independently and in collaboration with the other health professionals and partners. He/she will provide leadership of the rehabilitation unit, community outreach and volunteer/student exchange program. This involves regular interaction with children with disabilities, their guardians and university students.

 

Qualification: Diploma from a recognized Institution and skillset in reporting and project management is an added advantage with a valid Annual Practicing License.
Experience: 2 years +

CLINICAL MANAGER 

The Clinical Manger shall be responsible for clinical management, finical management, human capital, communications, and adherence to the National Health Standards as per Ministry of Health and World Health Organization guidelines. The clinical manager plans, organizes and coordinates Health programs together with HSA that are being implemented in Nurture Africa. They shall hold the vision, values and beliefs of the organization and constantly train staff on the same. Provide management to the clinic, its operations and directly supervises all Nurture Africa Heads of Departments. Maintain good working relation with stakeholders including Ministry of Health, District Health Officers, Municipal Health Officers and
Donors/Partners. Work with the team to promote the excellent standards of the health Centre. Support the clinic by sourcing for funding for the health programs of the clinic. The goal of this position is to ensure that all departments perform according to the donor targets in the health.

 

Qualification: Degree in clinical Medicine from a recognized Institution. Master Degree is an added advantage with a valid Annual Practicing License.
Experience: 5 years in a managerial role.

HEAD OF MIDWIVES (2)
The Head of Midwives, organizes and Coordinates all Nurture Africa MCH programmes that are implemented in the Heath for the efficient running of the department and shall hold the vision, values and beliefs of the Nurture Africa and constantly train midwives. She shall provide overall leadership to the Midwifery team and its operations and directly supervise all staff in the department and ensure timely reporting to MOH and Donor requirements.
She shall work with a team of other department heads to promote excellent standards in the department. She shall be inspiring, supporting and encouraging, as he/she manages Midwives to produce results in a timely manner. The goal of this position is to ensure that all Midwives provide the best Health and
customer care to all patient accessing health services according to the MOH guidelines.

 

Qualification: Diploma or Degree from a recognized Institution and skillset in reporting, administration and management is an added advantage with a valid Annual Practicing License.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years.

MONITORING & EVALUATION COORDINATOR
The M&E coordinator will support the M&E Manager in all data collection, analysis and learning activities to help ensure accountability and efficiency from start to finish for all projects, both new and established through Nurture Africa. S/he will provide technical field support to the M&E unit. The M&E Coordinator will work closely with Programs team to assess field conditions, support capacity building initiatives, and facilitate the collection of quality data. S/he will be assigned to focus on supporting one or more specific grants or projects within a program as assigned by M&E Manager. S/he will collaborate with the programs team in reviewing and preparing monthly, quarterly and final narrative and financial donors reports.

 

Qualification: Degree; Monitoring and Evaluation, Development Studies, Social Sciences, Public Health from a recognized Institution, PGD in M&E is an added advantage, with a skillset in reporting, Administration and Management.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years.
